As a high-density city, Hong Kong has long faced challenges such as traffic congestion and environmental pollution. Improving traffic flow while also addressing environmental needs has become a crucial issue. This competition tests students' AIoT skills in two main aspects, thereby cultivating their interdisciplinary application and problem-solving abilities.
Themed Task Challenge
Participating teams must integrate and apply the AIoT technologies learned in the course, combined with their self-developed autonomous vehicle and public transportation application, to complete the transportation-themed task set by the conference within the specified time. Scoring will be based on a comprehensive evaluation of task completion efficiency, the collaborative performance of the application and the vehicle, and the degree of innovative application.
Solution Presentation
In this session, students are required to design and develop innovative AIoT-based solutions for real-world transportation challenges and present their proposals. They must explain the concept, technical implementation, core functions, and practical benefits of their solutions, using diverse formats such as presentations, role-playing, or prototype demonstrations, followed by a live Q&A with judges.
